Music Lessons For All
Here at NWMTC we welcome all ages, children from 5yrs through to Seniors. Age is never a barrier, and it is a pathway to experience the joy of music-making and finding out what you can personally achieve.
We will support you every step of the way whether for fun or developing academic qualifications through exam grades.
We have 7 well equipped tuition centres in 6 counties:
Bangor, Gwynedd ; Colwyn Bay, Conwy ; Abergele, Conwy
Rhuddlan, Denbighshire ; Buckley, Flintshire
Johnstown, Wrexham ; Chirk (Weston Rhyn), Shropshire

Are you ready to get started? You will have the opportunity of visiting the centre of your choice and meeting your allocated tutor for an introductory /informal chat, followed by a 4 lesson trial period, to ease you into learning with us, or if you are beginner, to help you decide whether the subject is right for you.
No instrument? No problem. We understand that some instruments are a huge investment when you are not sure if you are taking it up long term. We have a wide range of instruments available for loan for a donation, which can continue until you are ready to buy your own instrument.

Student Gains Admission To Prestigious Performing Arts Institution
We are delighted to announce that one of our vocal students, Steven Houghton, has gained entry into The Hammond, Chester. On average, the institute only admits around 30% of those who audition, so this is a remarkable achievement. Many congratulations to him, and also thanks to our tutor, Janis Hopkins, who has been coaching his lovely baritone voice for the last 3 years.

Alex Miller, Wrexham
Alex Miller, one of our vocal students out of the Johnstown centre, was recently awarded Distinction for Grade 8 singing from Trinity Classical and Jazz, attaining an absolutely astonishing 97%. Many congratulations to her, and thanks to tutor Emma Williams for the hard work and coaching to help her attain it.

Sarah N, Abergele
Sarah N was recently awarded a Merit in Grade 8 piano from the LCM Board. This, whilst also studying hard for her A levels. Sarah is now concentrating on her studies, but we look forward to any updates on her musical journey. Thank you to tutor Aurette Hayes for your hard work in helping her gain this achievement.
